Gemma was diagnosed with cancer around 2014

During the cancer treatment, Gemma and her son moved back into our house for the full duration of the treatment (around 10 months) We supported Gemma emotionally and financially including all of Gemma’s and her sons general day to day needs right through the whole ordeal

Like many in the family, i was there for her 100%, with love and without hesitation. 

Kelly took Gemma for the majority of her treatments, she took our grandson to school and collected him, and many many other things. 

Once Gemma was given the all clear, she bought Kelly a lovely necklace from Tiffany as a thank you for all that she had done. Of course the gift was very welcome but completely unnecessary, we did what we did without hesitation, why wouldn’t we, she’s our daughter. 

Kelly & Gemma  also went to a lovely spa day together after the treatment had finished. 

After the treatment, we did various runs and walks together for cancer charities, even I did the 5 mile walk :)

Cancer touched our lives and we dealt with it together as a family.  We helped Gemma get through it and we were there for her 100%. 

We supported Gemma in every way possible and of course we did this naturally as any family would.
